A true veteran in the engineering and construction industry, Jane brings a strength and tenacity to the GIS team that is impossible to measure. Jane’s passion for the GIS vison has been critical in shaping GIS’ unique model for bring together our merger partners on a global scale. This includes having diversity at all levels of the organization, knowing that the “diversity of the parts” is a key factor in making the “whole stronger.”
Jane is also a recognized expert on urban infrastructure and construction, and with a background in environmental, transportation and building engineering and planning, Jane has become a highly sought-after strategist for both public and private business and development efforts.
Jane has held key leadership positions in some of the world’s preeminent engineering firms. Most recently, she served for 25 years at AECOM where, as COO, she managed both the operations of the firm’s 45,000 employees in 150 countries and the successful integration of 29 companies into a unified AECOM brand.
A passionate advocate for diversity in the AEC industry, Jane founded AECOM’s diversity and inclusion program, and is a member of Women’s Forum of New York, an invitation-only consortium of New York’s most prominent professional women who work to advance women leadership.
A Boston area native, Jane has over 40 years of experience in major projects and leadership initiatives around the globe. She is an inductee in the National Academy of Construction, as well as an ENO Center for Transportation Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. She continues to serve on Governor Charlie Baker's P3 Commission, which facilitates public-private partnerships for transportation projects through out the Commonwealth.
